With each passing year, the gaming companies are looking for ways to better the experience of the gamers, and as such, the companies have come up with new developments in the field. Although most of the newly added features are welcomed with open arms by the gamers, there are still times when they talk about bringing some of the old features back.

The same goes for the Xbox 360. Although Microsoft has been working on developing and adding more features to it for two generations, the gamers still long for the previous ones, and they have hoped, for the longest time, that Microsoft, in the future, will come up with a new way to restore the Xbox 360 gaming experience on the new Xbox consoles.

Microsoft has been working on bringing the ‘old experience’ back to its games, and thanks to the Xbox Engineering director Eden Marie the feature was being tested. On September 22, Marie mentioned that the Alpha-Skip Ahead channel will now feature a new option in the “change player profile picture” of their profile.

She tweeted, “Hi everyone, I know that many of you are looking for a way to return your Xbox 360 player pictures. Explore to save time! If you are an Alpha Skip Ahead Insider, you may need to restart the console, but starting today, you will find a new option in the “Change Player Avatar” screen.”

The Oxbox 360 player picture would appear on the designated screen. As per Eden Marie’s statement, the developers have also tinkered with how the avatars are displayed on modern gaming consoles a few weeks ago and fixed some issues with it. Now, if the gamer chooses to display it on a TV screen, it should look just fine. Games interested in using the old Master Chief gamerpic in Halo 3 can do so now.
