Nokia has launched four new smart TVs in India. The new smart TVs come with a range of screen sizes and various display resolutions. The Finnish tech giant has launched smart TVs with UHD and QLED panels. Of course, the QLED panels are on the expensive side.
The UHD smart TVs will come in two different sizes: 50-inches and 55-inches. The smart TVs are encased within thin bezels on all sides. The smart TV display offers 400 nits brightness; moreover, it also offers Dolby Vision, HDR10, and Gamma Engine 2.2.
Under the hood, the Nokia smart TVs run on a 1.1GHz quad-core processor that comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of memory storage. Nokia has equipped the smart TVs with the latest Android 11. Other software included with the TVs is a built-in Google Assistant, Play Store, and Chromecast. A few sources have mentioned that the smart TVs will come pre-installed with some of the popular OTTs such as Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, and more.
In terms of connectivity, Nokia has equipped the smart TVs with three HDMI ports, two USB ports, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a headphone jack.
As for the QLED TV, this one too comes in two different sizes: 50-inches, and 55-inches.
Only a few days ago a dedicated page to the Nokia smart TVs appeared. This meant that Nokia would launch the smart TVs through the eCommerce platform, Flipkart. Coincidentally since the Big Billion Day is coming up, many people knew that Nokia would begin the sale of the smart TVs around that time. Now as it turns out, the smart TVs will be available for purchase from Flipkart during the Big Billion Days sale which starts on October 3rd, 2021.
The 50-inch LED Nokia smart TV is priced at INR. 44,999, and the 55-inch LED smart TV is priced at INR. 49,999. On the other hand, the QLED models will be priced at INR. 49,999 (50-inch), and INR. 54,999 (55-inch).
