Moto G42 expected specifications

First things first, the Moto G42 is said to get the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor. This will keep the device in direct competition with the Realme 9i as it also runs on a similar processor. The chipset has a clock speed of 2.4GHz along with the Adreno 610 graphics processing unit (GPU).

The smartphone could also get 4GB RAM along with 64GB internal storage. However, at the time of launch, we can see multiple RAM and storage variants coming our way. In addition, expectations are that the device will also get the Android 12 operating system that will offer near to stock Android experience like other Moto phones.

Another rumor suggested that the Moto G42 will get an OLED display, too, with a high refresh rate. Not only this, but we can also get to see dual-band WiFi connectivity, type-C port, NFC feature, and more. The smartphone could also get a triple rear camera setup.

Motorola has always trumped all other brands in terms of camera prowess in the budget smartphone segment. We have the same set of expectations with the upcoming Moto G42 and Moto G62.

There has been no official word regarding the pricing and the smartphone’s launch date until now. However, there are chances that the smartphone will be a budget device priced somewhere around Rs 15,000.
