Xiaomi is all set to refresh its gaming smartphone range with the Black Shark 5 series launch and a new device. It is being said that three smartphones will be launched on June 8, including Black Shark 5, Black Shark 5 Pro, and Black Shark 5 RS.

All of them will reach the Malaysian market first, followed by their launch in other countries. The smartphone will make its debut at 7:00 PM local time in Malaysia, and the event will be streamed live via the TikTok and Facebook accounts of the brand.

As of now, we are skeptical about the launch of Black Shark 5 RS in the global market. The brand has not revealed the pricing details of the other two smartphones until now. However, we already know what they are going to deliver in terms of specifications.

Xiaomi Black Shark 5 series expected specifications

The base variant of the series, Xiaomi Black Shark 5, is said to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor. The smartphone will face off other devices like Realme GT Neo 2 5G, and the OnePlus 9R in the industry.

On the other hand, Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro’s high-end variant will most probably ship with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The smartphone will be competing with other flagship devices like the OnePlus 10 Pro, iQoo 9 Pro, Moto Edge 30 Pro, etc.

As per the leaked camera details, Black Shark 5 is supposed to get a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 64MP primary shooter, a 13MP secondary shooter, and a 2MP macro shooter.

Apart from that, we could get to see a 108MP primary sensor in the Pro variant, just like the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge. The other two sensors could be a 13MP ultra wide-angle sensor and a 5MP telephoto sensor.
