Developers have previously confirmed the debut of the new 5v5 Bomb Squad mode, as well as a fresh new map “El Pastelo” and challenges starting June 3 in the patch notes for the Free Fire OB34 update. Garena isn’t offering Bomb Squad mode for the first time. A similar mode was previously available for a brief period. However, because the mode was not well received by gamers, it was eventually removed from the game.
The Bomb Squad in Free Fire used to be a 4v4 war, but with more action this time, players will now experience a 5v5 battle. With the new mode, players will have the opportunity to earn free items in the game by performing easy in-game quests. If the response for this mode is positive, we may see Bomb Squad ranked mode in the future, similar to the Lone Wolf mode. If you’re still unsure about this mode, this article will provide you with enough information on the new 5v5 Bomb Squad mode.
Free Fire 5v5 Bomb Squad mode and “El Pastelo” map
The events surrounding the introduction of the new mode began today, June 3, and Garena has already released the event calendar for the following week. The Bomb Squad mode in Free Fire will receive a new map, as well as new 5v5 matchmaking mechanisms, including relative time ranking versions, on June 10th.
Players will still have the opportunity to combat on the vivid Bomb Squad map El Pastelo, which will be released on June 10th, adding to the difficulty. Teams will be able to enjoy a faster-paced and more tactical fighting experience on the new map. However, unlike the BR or Clash Squad maps like Bermuda or Purgatory, it won’t be available for other modes, as it is exclusively designed only for the Bomb squad mode.
How to play the new 5v5 Bomb Squad mode?
To enter the battle, players will require a five-player team, or they may start matching with two or three friends and play with random people. Both teams will have an equal number of opportunities to place the bomb anywhere on the map, and the other team will have a certain amount of time to locate and deactivate the bomb.
With the new 5v5 matching system added to Bomb Squad, teams will be forced to change their fighting approaches. To win with an extended team, players will need to devise new skills and techniques. A revamped purchase demand system and a randomized shop system are two new elements that gamers can anticipate seeing in the in-game mode.
How do you get free prizes for completing challenges?
Players can earn free rewards such as Weapon crates, Luck Royale vouchers, and much more by just checking-in daily starting from 3 June. On June 10th, the ultimate challenge that teams and players have been preparing for will finally take place. From June 10 to 16, teams participating in the Bomb Squad ranked task and Bomb Squad ranked victory challenge would be eligible for additional rewards in addition to the daily objectives.
For completing the in-game tasks, participants will receive C4 tokens. After collecting enough tokens, you may swap them for goodies like the Squad Spirit package, Thompson weapon crates, and more.
