BGMI, one of the most popular battle royales, which recently crossed 100 million downloads, was recently removed from the Google Play Store. The absence of an explanation for its removal has enraged fans, with the majority of players assuming it was due to a technical issue. However, BGMI was later deleted from the iOS App Store as well.

Google has verified the government’s directives led to the removal of Battlegrounds Mobile India, while Krafton looking into the matter. Play Store has issued a statement saying, “Upon receipt of the decision, in accordance with the established procedure, we have contacted the impacted developer and have disabled access to the app that remained available on the Play Store in India.
