A new leak claims that there will be a fifth, invite-only exclusive tier in Sony’s PlayStation Stars loyalty program, although nothing has been officially announced about it. Along with descriptions of the tier, some photos related to Diamond tier incentives have also been discovered.

PlayStation Stars 5th tier will be available exclusively via invitation

According to Reddit user the andshrew, who discovered information about Playstation Stars in the PlayStation mobile app, there may be a hidden, private 5th tier of the program that can only be accessed by invitation. Further, the Redditor went on to say, “The fifth tier is named Diamond, and the conditions to reach it are specified as Invite only to Diamond Level.”

The leaker provided links to Diamond tier images that were stored on the official PlayStation website to support his claims. A rare collectible known as the Level 5 Diorama will reportedly be awarded to gamers who reach level 5. The item comes with a revolving animation that shows it off in all its splendor.

How do the PlayStation Stars tiers work?

When a player first signs up for PlayStation Stars, they are assigned the Level 1 tier. To reach the Level 4 tier, players must purchase four full-priced titles from the PlayStation Store and collect 128 unique trophies.

Once they do, Sony promised, they’ll get a special collectible and be given precedence in the chats whenever they approach PlayStation Customer Support with any problems they might run into. In short, this seems to imply that Level 4 PlayStation Stars members can access customer service without waiting in line.

Although a fifth tier has not been disclosed, the pictures and description provide indications that Sony may provide it in the future, maybe when the service is made available globally. However, if this leak is accurate, Sony may have planned something remarkable for gamers at the Diamond or Fifth Tier levels.

Players have already criticized PlayStation Stars in response to Sony’s announcement that it will give priority to higher-level users while providing customer assistance. Let’s wait and see what Sony has in store for future levels.
