Bayonetta Voice Actor Urges Fans to Boycott the Game
Fans could recognize a different voice portraying the title character if they are aware of the brand-new video game Bayonetta 3. The substitution, according to Platinum at the time, was necessary because Hellena found it “impossible” to reprise her role as Bayonetta owing to several overlapping situations.
Hellena Taylor has spoken out on Twitter to explain reasons she won’t be returning to the Bayonetta 3 and why she’s urging fans to boycott the company. According to Taylor, the Bayonetta series has generated almost $450 million. The offer, according to her, was “an insult to me, the amount of time that I spent to build on my skill, and all that I have contributed to this game and the fans,” she claims.

After Taylor’s video was posted to Twitter, it was only a matter of time before enraged followers approached Kamiya directly in response.
Hideki Kamiya replied to her saying “Sad and deplorable about the attitude of untruth. That’s what all I can tell now.” He added, “By the way, BEWARE OF MY RULES.” This tweet, however, did little more than serve as a rallying point for boycott reactions.
Conversely, it’s evident that many people saw Bayonetta 3 voice actor video, recognized the unfairness, and brought it up with Kamiya. He may have retaliated by banning as many individuals as he possibly could, causing Twitter to suspend his account. However, the exact reason is yet unknown.
