The Pokemon Go 2023 New Year event will begin on December 31, 2022, at 8 PM local time, and it will run until January 4, 2023, at 8 PM. Up until December 31, 2022, trainers can still take part in Pokemon Go’s Winter Holiday Part 2 Event.

Here are all of the announcements for the new year’s celebrations in Pokemon Go

Pikachu arrives at the New Year 2023 celebration in Pokemon GO and is joined by other iconic characters who have been costumed for the celebration wearing a party top hat. Furthermore, if you evolve Hoothoot while it is dressed in a New Year’s costume during the occasion, you will be able to receive a Noctowl dressed in that attire.

In 7km eggs, players may find the young versions of Togepi, Elekid, Smoochum, Azurill, Igglybuff, Clefa, Magby, Tyrogue, Wynaut, and Pichu sporting party hats. Pokemon GO will also receive new avatar accessories, poses, and stickers as part of the New Year’s 2023 event. Special costumes will be added to the store, and as usual, shiny variants of Pokemon may occasionally be found.

Players shouldn’t pass up the chance to hatch eggs during the New Year celebration event for 2023 in Pokemon Go. Hatch distance will be cut in half for the first three Pokemon put in eggs using the Pokemon GO Widget. Last seen during the Greedy Gluttons event, this bonus. The hatching distance for all other eggs will be half. So be ready to ring in the new year with all-new stuff.
