Today, the cross-platform that measures system’s performance, Geekbench, has officially released the results of the top five processors for single-core and multiple-core.

The information was contained in a Twitter post tweeted by Ice Universe stating: Geekbench 5 results for some processors. According to the cart shared by the processor, benchmark A15 ranked highest with 1750 and 4885 in Single-Core Score and Multi-Core Score, respectively. Followed by Dimensity 900 with 4410 in Multi-Core Score and 1270 in Single-Core Score.

The Snapdragon 8 gen one was ranked third with 3752 Multi-Core Score and 1231 Single-Core Score. While the Exynos 2200 and Snapdragon 888 rank fourth and fifth with 3534, 3525 Multi-Core Scores and 1109, 1125 Single-Core Scores, respectively.

However, several fans have been reacting to the scores shared by the Ice Universe.

“It doesn’t matter.

The lower scores don’t actually mean the device performs poorly. It’s just on the App itself, poorly optimized for different skins on top of Android. That has nothing to do with real-life performance.” Fan reply the tweets.

To another fan who claimed the scores are not true says: “Heard that Exynos have collaborated with AMD for GPU enhancement, but these scores are less than last gen SD, seems like sammy once again messed up.”

“snapdragon 8 gen 1 scores should be higher. geekbench just doesnt support arm v9 yet. thats why the scores are low.” Fans asked

“While many people say a15 is better this has this blah blah. It all depends on your usage … Dimensity 1200 , 9000 , 870 etc … These all are already capable to run games , multitask smoothly. Problem is the ui of phones and apps are just not optimised. We can’t do anything.” Fans reacted.

The Geekbench is a CPU benchmark that runs on macOS, iOS, and a variety of other operating systems. A processor benchmark is an application that runs a series of standardized tests that simulate real-world workloads in order to give your device’s processor a performance score.

Geekbench 5 is the most recent version of the application, with single-core and multi-core scores available. Because all Macs now have two or more cores, the multi-core score is the most accurate estimate of processor performance; we present this statistic in blue language at the foot of each product description.

Geekbench 5 scores are compared to a 1000-point baseline, with 1000 being the score of an Intel Core i3-8100. The faster the processor, the higher the score. A higher number indicates that the processor is twice as powerful.

When a device runs Geekbench, the score can be posted to Geekbench Browser, which allows scores from many different devices to be crowdsourced. Due to the possibility that benchmarks for two identical devices may differ somewhat due to different background processes, the average of each score submitted is displayed. Geekbench Browser can be used to display Mac-specific scores.
