It’s been almost a year now since OPPO introduced the Find N2 Flip, and today, the mobile brand announced its successor, the Find N3 Flip, but only in its home country, China. According to the brand, the new foldable smartphone will also be available on the global market soon.
OPPO announced the new foldable smartphone to rival its major competitors, particularly to capitalize on the buzz surrounding the brand-new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5. Before today’s official launch, the device had several leaks revealing its specs and design. Now, let’s see what the device tends to offer.
OPPO Find N3 Flip Design Compared to Find N2 Flip
OPPO isn’t jumping on the full-screen bandwagon like Samsung and Motorola are since it doesn’t have a cover screen that occupies the entire front of the phone. Instead, it appears that the Find N3 Flip is still employing the same 3.26-inch vertical cover screen as previously, but with an improved user interface.
With its rectangular cover display, the OPPO Find N3 resembles its predecessor quite a bit. The cameras on the outer screen now come in a circular module and have three sensors instead of the previous two, giving them a new appearance. The camera module prominently displays the Hasselblad logo.
OPPO Find N3 Flip Notable Specs
Leveraging on the predecessor, the Find N3 Flip features a 6.80-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is backed by a 3.26-inch AMOLED cover display.
Under the hood, the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC paired with the Mali-G715 Immortalis MP11 GPU powered the device, which featured up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. The new foldable phone is also the first Oppo-branded device with an Alert Slider.
The optical session is one of the biggest improvements of the device, as it comes with three rear cameras: a 50 MP Sony IMX890 primary sensor with OIS, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 32 MP telephoto sensor. For selfies, there’s a 32 MP front camera on the Find N3 Flip.
Coming to the battery capacity the OPPO Find N3 Flip packs a 4,300mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. Other features of the device are a side-mounted Fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, a USB Type-C port, NFC, 5G, and an Android 13-based ColorOS 13.1 custom skin out of the box.
OPPO Find N3 Flip Pricing and Availability
As the smartphone only goes official in China today, it is currently priced at CNY 6,799 (about 77,200 in India) for the base model with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. While the 256GB of onboard storage is priced at CNY 7,599 (Rs 86,200 approximate).
According to the brand, the OPPO Find N3 Flip will be available for purchase on September 8th in China and will subsequently be available in the global market soon, without a specific date yet. You can get the device in three color options: Moonlight Muse, Mist Rose, and Mirror Night.
