Although Oppo’s journey in the telecommunication industry is quite recent compared to the other premium brands like Samsung, Apple, or Nokia, what is quite astounding is that Oppo has already started paving its way pretty fast and its journey is quite admirable.
With its latest technology, better camera specifications, and other exclusive features, Oppo is taking its lead and as per the recent reports, Oppo is about to take a great leap by patenting an amazing OPPO Nendo smartphone gadget that marks a new epoch for the smartphone industry.
Taking its influence from the early 80s or 90s, where everyone would be going gaga over slide phones, Oppo brings a new patent for something similar enveloped in a much highly-tech design refined with an ultra-cool appearance and highly technological folds.
Unlike the incorporation of the usual flip design, which we already witnessed in the Galaxy Flip mobiles, Oppo’s new OPPO Nendo ‘slide phone’ as the name goes comes with 3-fold bends and differs from the former in technique by introducing the sliding technique, where one of the fold represents a larger screen, whereas the other part signifies the functional facilities.
With the beginning of its patent that was introduced in early February, the image offers a 7-inches of the large display, accommodating a SIM tray at the rear exterior and triple rear camera at the first and topmost compartment of the folds.
Although the design seems quite complicated when comes to explanation, in reality, it is not complicated at all, rather, introduces a far-futuristic technique, speaking of which the company commented:
“The concept of ‘slide-phone’ is that smartphone users are using their phone to interact with the world around them more, yet the devices are often too large in size. The triple-fold allows the user to change the size to fit the occasion”
The company further mentions a ‘slim form factor’ meant for partial bending, where the top compartment of the fold provides various functional features like call history, notifications, music player interfaces as well.
Few other technical features covered by this OPPO Nendo triple hinge foldable design include a 2-in-1 plate, a self-developed Warp Track, Roll Motor powertrain respectively.
