The Pokemon Company International has announced that the new Pokemon game called the Pokemon TCG: Shining Fates expansion will finally launch sometime next month.
The special expansion comes with its new gameplay and has taken inspiration from the Hidden Fates expansion. Subsequently, the new game will also introduce more than 100 Shiny Pokemon on etched cards.
The new expansion will include nine Shiny Pokemon V, seven Shiny Pokémon VMAX like the highly collectable Shiny Charizard in its Gigantamax form, and three Amazing Pokémon, each of which feature “a Legendary or Mythical Pokémon illustrated with vividly rainbow backgrounds that extend outside of the frame”.
The cards from this edition will only be available on selected products. The list of the products are as follows:
Shining Fates Elite Trainer Box: Includes 10 Shining Fates booster packs, one foil promo card featuring Eevee VMAX, and various gameplay accessories.
Shining Fates Tins: Includes six Shining Fates booster packs and one foil promo card featuring Eldegoss V, Boltund V, or Cramorant V.
Shining Fates Collection—Pikachu V: Includes four Shining Fates booster packs, as well as one foil promo card and one foil oversize promo card featuring Pikachu V.
Shining Fates Mad Party Pin Collections: Includes three Shining Fates booster packs; one foil promo card featuring Bunnelby, Dedenne, Galarian Mr. Rime, or Polteageist; and one corresponding pin.
All of these will be available on and from February 19, 2021.
Shining Fates Mini Tins: Includes two Shining Fates booster packs and one metallic coin
Shining Fates Premium Collections: Includes seven Shining Fates booster packs; one foil promo card featuring either Shiny Crobat V or Shiny Dragapult V.
One foil promo card and one foil oversize promo card featuring either Shiny Crobat VMAX or Shiny Dragapult VMAX; and one corresponding metallic coin.
The Shining Fates Mini Tins and the Shining Fates Premium Collections will be available from March 5, 2021.
