Sony’s Group subsidiary Sony Semiconductor Solutions, has been paving the way for imaging and Sensing technology to shape the world to be better placed. And to keep the word, today, on January 25, SSS( Sony Semiconductor Solutions ), alongside Sony Corporation, conducted an event with the slogan “Sense the Wonder Day,”.
The company also released a prescient trailer under the watchword. The trailer covers the systematic evolution of the world. It predominantly focuses on things that Sony aims to develop in the future and the near past, how Sony carves the systemic future with a chisel as technology.
The event also shares the concept with stakeholders, including employees. Sony split up the business into two different dimensions. One with a Sony and its subsidiary on the flip side Sony Semiconductor Solutions and its subsidiary, SSS, is accountable for its Imaging & Sensing Solutions business.
SSS lines up for the amelioration of the technology earlier this week; the subsidiary firm set off a new slogan to provide deep knowledge to stakeholders about the SSS future goals and business ambitions. The saying helps the shareholders to think off about the aspirations of the company “make the world more full of surprises and excitement” and “feel more curiosity.”
The company stated that “SSS Group will continue to address society as one through this slogan.” Kenichiro Yoshida, Chairman, President, and CEO of Sony Group Corporation, said, “To continue to provide ‘Kando (emotion)’ to the world with No.1 technology, it is essential to grasp the needs of the world and seize new business opportunities such as automotive image sensors and edge AI.
The new corporate slogan, ‘Sense the Wonder,’ includes ‘sense’ as capturing awareness of people and ‘wonder’ as considerate of curiosity born from people. I felt that this is in line with our corporate direction of ‘getting closer to people.’”
SSS President and CEO Terushi Shimizu, then took over the stage and addressed the gatherings as “a company driven by technology and the curiosity of each individual,” and explained that SSS’s technology “will create the social infrastructure of the future, and will no doubt lead to a ‘sensing society’ in which image sensors play an active role in all aspects of life.”
In addition, he said, “The imaging and sensing technologies we create will allow us to uncover new knowledge that makes us question the common sense of the world and discover new richness hidden in our daily lives.” Sony Semiconductor Solutions Corporation is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sony Group Corporation and the global pioneer in image sensors; it was established in 2015 to furtherance the imaging sensors technology.
