Suikoden 1 and 2, the most loved Konami RPGs, will make a return to PlayStation, Xbox, Steam and Switch in 2023. Silence before the tornado! There’s been a hiatus in the Konami headquarters before it rug sweeps all the leading lights.

The following news would be an apotheosis of Konami. Some things might never happen or it wouldn’t be like the original. But, in some atypical cases, we can be showered with an improbable mission. It seems Konami has always had this thought of remaking its glory.

Suikoden 1 and 2 are critically extolled Japanese role-playing games that debuted on the original PlayStation in the mid-’90s. It was a popular game in those days, people haven’t seen games that offer numerous flaunts to keep the Joystick up on the table. To retain the ingenuity of the game. Konami has restructured the remaster version in so many ways. As to keep the shadow of the game as well add some sizzling desserts to it.

As of now, we don’t have any card on the deck to find out the remastered version gameplay. But Konami sketched some of the changes made for the remasters. Aren’t you excited to see what will be coming to the land of vows, sun, and friendship? The sprites and environment art has gotten a new shade alongside new screen effects including lighting, clouds, and shadow animations.

Expect to see swiveling flames, swirling smoke, and even the reaction of leaves and insects. On the flip side, in terms of characterization, all character in the game has been revamped in HD.

Konami said Junko Kawano, who originally sketched the characters for the original version of Suikoden, has re-drawn all the character portraits for Suikoden 1 HD Remaster Gate Rune War. Quite a few environmental sounds were barely found in the original version of the game, but now the studio added sounds of running water in the river, wind, insects, and running footsteps.
